soul retrieval
Individuals react differently to the same types of stress and traumatic events. What may seem to be a minor disturbance to one person may seem to another that the world is falling apart. In addition, some traumas and their adverse reactions may seem to repeat throughout the lifetime (and beyond) of a person. Personality and lifestyle are definite factors affecting events and reactions. Another factor, perhaps the most important, is the strength and health of a person’s Luminous Energy Field. Sometimes thought of as the Aura or the Soul, this field acts as the ‘filter’ for how we each see and react to our environment.
Certain traumatic events can cause a rift in the LEF at the time of the occurrence. In order to cope with a serious situation, sometimes a portion of our LEF, or Soul, separates and goes away. This can happen whether the event is physical, emotional or mental. People in traumatic situations sometimes report afterwards of a feeling of being ‘disconnected’ or watching the event as though from a distance or on a movie screen. Usually, after a short time, the lost soul part returns to the Energy Field.
In some cases the soul part does not return. This leaves a ‘hole’ in the LEF or Soul. The result of this missing soul part is that a person is now susceptible to repeating this trauma. They will also have a more severe reaction to any event in their life that may energetically resemble the original trauma. A person may regain their health from the trauma, but their wellbeing is still compromised by the loss of the soul part.
The process of Soul Retrieval deals with the aspects of returning a person to wholeness. The first part is to fin where the lost soul part has gone. The second part is returning the lost part and reintegrating it into the client’s soul. Trained in tracking a soul part to the places in nonordinary reality where it goes, a shaman practitioner travels in a ‘journey’ to find the part and bring it back to the client.
Once the soul part is returned, the client will experience a shift manifesting from the return to wholeness of the soul. Sometimes, messages or other gifts are energetically brought back during the soul retrieval. These are also returned to the Luminous Energy Field to assist with the healing process.
